La Tonya Johnson (LT) is a woman with Guts, Grace, and Gratitude. She is a native Houstonian and resides in The Woodlands, Texas with her husband. She has a blended family of four daughters, a son and twelve grandchildren. She has always been passionate about helping people, but serving the homeless and abused, especially in our underserved communities is what gives her the most joy. It's no secret that she is an overcomer of some of life's great challenges. She is a breast cancer and domestic violence survivor, and although she has gone through many challenges, she does not let anything stop her from making a difference.
She is a business professional and a community philanthropist who seeks out every opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
LT not only believes that everyone has a story to tell, but her philosophy is "homeless, but still human." Her goal is to treat every person she meets with dignity and respect and to help give everyone an opportunity for a second chance, regardless of their personal situation.
She lives by to motto "God first... life second," and fills herself with love to share it with the world and if she lose her focus, she may forget her primary purpose, and that is to be of service to those who are less fortunate.
LT also believes that when women come together, incredible things happen!
